Terms & Conditions

Terms of Service

By accessing, browsing, registering an account, or purchasing digital assets from Online CBC, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to be legally bound by these terms and conditions. If you do not agree, please refrain from using our services.

1. License of Use & Classroom Rights

All digital products—including schemes of work, lesson plans, tests, marking schemes, and notes—purchased or downloaded from this site are subject to a **Single-User, Non-Exclusive, Revocable License**. Under this license:

  • Permitted Uses: You may edit, customize, print, and utilize the files for your personal teaching, classroom instruction, and student assessment purposes.
  • Prohibited Uses: You are strictly forbidden from uploading purchased files to public clouds, sharing them in public social media groups (e.g., WhatsApp, Telegram, Facebook), reselling the files, or using them for commercial coaching franchises without obtaining written corporate consent.

2. Account Integrity & Security

To access dashboard downloads, you may register a user account. You are solely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials. Sharing your account password to allow other educators to download materials is considered a breach of this license and will result in permanent account termination without refund.

3. Intellectual Property Rights

The layout, design, text, logos, database code, and compiled educational materials are the property of Online CBC and its partner authors. They are protected under the Copyright Act of the Republic of Kenya. Vetted resources are protected from duplication, scraping, or extraction via automated bots.

4. Disclaimer of Warranties & Educational Disclaimer

All materials are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. While our compilation team makes every effort to match current KICD curriculum maps, Ministry guidelines, and examiner rules, we do not warrant that files are entirely free of typographical errors. Teachers are advised to crosscheck dates, school-specific terms, and textbook pages prior to submitting files to school quality assurance officers.

5. Governing Law

These terms and conditions shall be governed by, construed, and enforced in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Kenya, and any disputes arising from these terms will be settled under the jurisdiction of Kenyan courts.
